Sleeping Booty brings the party to Lincoln Theatre Friday, Aug. 7. For more than two decades this electrifying 11-piece ensemble has been packing dance floors with a repertoire spanning 70 years — from Motown classics and disco anthems to today’s pop and R&B hits. Sleeping Booty delivers polished choreography and top-tier musicianship in every show. The group has shared stages with legends like Earth, Wind & Fire, Parliament/Funkadelic and KC and the Sunshine Band, cementing their reputation as one of the Southeast’s premier party bands.
Joining them is Police & Thieves, Raleigh’s own tribute to the sounds of the early ’80s and New Wave, spinning through favorites from The Police, The Clash, Talking Heads, Duran Duran, The Cars and more.
